We're a U.S. military family relocating to the Ramstein area this fall. Our daughter is 4 years old and already bilingual in English and French — we're looking for a nanny who can speak with her exclusively in French to help keep that going as she grows. She's active, curious, and enjoys reading, play, and being outside.
We're also expecting a second child in February, so the role will grow to include some infant care once the baby arrives, alongside continuing care for our daughter.
We're a close, easygoing household and looking for someone reliable and warm who can become a steady part of our daily routine — mornings to the bus stop, then afternoons until we're both home from work. Happy to answer any questions about the role, schedule, or our family as you consider applying.

About the Role
We are a U.S. military family relocating to the Ramstein area and seeking a warm, reliable French-speaking nanny for our 4-year-old bilingual daughter. This is a language-immersion role: the nanny is expected to communicate with our daughter exclusively in French during all time together.
We are open to both a nanny or au pair. Au pair will be dependent upon our housing situation.
Responsibilities
Walk/drive our daughter to the school bus stop each morning (~7:30 AM)
Meet the bus and supervise our daughter from drop-off until parents return home (approx. 5:00–5:30 PM)
Conduct all interactions, play, homework help, and instruction in French only
Prepare and supervise afternoon snack and light meals
Support age-appropriate learning, reading, and play in French
Manage daily routines: homework/reading time, screen time limits, bath/hygiene as needed
Light tidying of child-related spaces
Daily communication with parents on our daughter's day, mood, and any concerns
Ensure safety during transport to/from the bus stop and while in your care
