We are a Japanese family living in Yokohama with three young children, including an infant. We are currently looking for a Family Assistant who can support us not only with childcare, but also with household tasks and the day-to-day running of our home.

Although we have three children, you will rarely be expected to care for all three at the same time. Depending on the day, we may ask you to care for one or two of the children, help with laundry, cleaning, tidying up, or assist with other things that are needed around the home.

Rather than someone who only follows a fixed list of duties, we would love to find someone who can look at the situation each day and think, “What can I do right now to help the family?”

We value keeping our home clean, comfortable, and well organized. Some days may be more focused on childcare, while other days may involve more household support, so the role will not be exactly the same every day.

Our family is quite active. We often go out with the children, enjoy different activities together, and we also travel from time to time.

For this reason, we would be very happy to find someone who is comfortable not only working at home, but also joining us for outings or trips when needed, and who can genuinely enjoy spending that time with the children.

We welcome someone who is positive, energetic, enjoys new places and experiences, and likes being active with children.

We will cover transportation costs related to work and outings. If you finish work late and public transportation is no longer available, we will also cover the cost of a taxi home.

There may also be evenings when we go out for dinner or other plans. In those cases, we may ask you to stay at our home while the children are sleeping and be there in case they wake up.

This is a live-out position, so we are looking for someone who can commute to our home in Yokohama.

Experience caring for infants and young children is very welcome, but more than qualifications alone, we value kindness, honesty, responsibility, flexibility, thoughtfulness, and someone who genuinely enjoys supporting a family.

We are looking for a flexible and reliable Family Assistant to support our family in Yokohama.

This is a live-out position, approximately 40 hours per week. Working hours may vary slightly depending on the children’s lessons, activities, growth, and our family’s schedule.

The role includes both childcare and household support. We have three young children, including an infant, but you will rarely be expected to care for all three children at the same time.

Responsibilities may include:

* Caring for one or two children depending on the day
* Playing with the children and supporting their daily routines
* Preparing simple meals, snacks, or bottles
* Helping with bath time and bedtime
* Laundry
* Cleaning and tidying
* Keeping the home organized
* Helping with occasional errands
* Staying at home with the children in the evening when needed
* Joining our family for outings, activities, or travel when requested

Experience with infants and young children is very welcome.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, responsible, and comfortable helping with both childcare and household tasks.

Transportation costs related to work will be covered. If work finishes late and public transportation is no longer available, taxi expenses will also be covered.

Evening support may sometimes be required, depending on our schedule.

Salary and schedule are negotiable depending on experience and availability.
