Family's Introduction to Au Pair

We are a family living in Breña Alta, on the beautiful island of La Palma, and we would love to welcome an au pair into our home as part of our family.
For us, being an au pair is much more than a childcare arrangement. It is an opportunity to share everyday life, learn from each other, discover new cultures, and create a meaningful connection. We are looking for someone who will feel comfortable in our home and who would enjoy becoming part of our family routine.
We are a family that values kindness, respect, communication, and spending quality time together. Our approach with children is based on respectful parenting: we try to listen to them, understand their needs, encourage their independence, and guide them with empathy and patience.
Our lifestyle is simple and family-oriented. We enjoy being outdoors, exploring nature, reading, playing, cooking, and sharing meals together. We also value a healthy lifestyle, with homemade food and balanced eating, and we try to create an environment where children can be creative and engaged without depending on screens.
Your role would mainly be to spend time with our children while we are working, from Monday to Friday mornings and Monday afternoon (around 28 hours per week). We are looking for someone who enjoys being with children, playing with them, reading, talking, doing activities, and being a caring and positive presence in their daily lives.
Living with us means discovering life in La Palma, an amazing island known for its nature, mountains, ocean, and relaxed lifestyle. Breña Alta is a comfortable place to live, with shops, restaurants, cafés, sports facilities, and everything you need nearby.
