I am a caring, responsible, trustworthy and well-organised person who enjoys helping others and taking responsibility. I value honesty, respect, privacy and good communication, and I understand the importance of being someone that a family or individual can rely on. I have many years of hands-on experience caring for children within my family. Although I have not worked as a paid professional nanny, I have cared for children from a young age. About 15 years ago, I cared for my three nephews, who were 3, 5 and 9 years old. I was responsible for their daily care, including bathing, preparing meals, getting them ready for school, helping with homework, teaching them to read and write, practising dictation and reading stories to them. Since then, I have continued to help care for more than six children from my brothers and sisters. I have assisted with school registration, school routines, meals, homework, bathing, activities and general day-to-day care. These experiences have taught me patience, organisation, responsibility and how to manage the needs of several children at the same time. I am also interested in personal assistant and family-support opportunities. I can assist with errands, appointments, scheduling, travel preparation, household organisation, basic administrative tasks and other practical responsibilities. I am adaptable, willing to learn and comfortable taking on new responsibilities when they are clearly explained and within my abilities. I speak English and I am comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds. I am open to learning about new cultures, adapting to different lifestyles and becoming familiar with the routines and expectations of the people I work with. I am open to both live-in and live-out opportunities, depending on the position and arrangements offered.
