Dear Family,
My name is Naomija, I am a 18-year-old Latvian citizen, and I would love to become your next Au Pair. I am looking for a wonderful family to support starting from late November or this winter through to September 2027.
I come from a very big family where I am the oldest sister to 8 siblings. Because of this, childcare and managing a bustling household have been a central part of my entire life. In addition to my personal family background, I have a wealth of professional childcare and educational experience:
• Professional Nanny & Childcare Experience: I have experience working as a summer kindergarten teacher. I have regularly nannied for multiple families caring for children aged 2, 3, 6, and 10, often staying with them independently while parents traveled. Currently, I am a professional nanny for a 1-year-old girl, and I run English lessons for children twice a week.
• Daily Routines & Child Development: I am highly experienced in toddler development, including speech practice, teaching first words, and potty training. For older children, I love engaging with them about their school or kindergarten days to truly understand their minds and adapt my care to their individual personalities.
• Cooking & Food Prep: I have professional food preparation experience, backed by years of cooking for my large family and running community bake sales. I can cook virtually anything (sweet, savory, or spicy) as long as I have a recipe. Personally, I eat a clean, affordable, plant-based diet, but I am entirely flexible and happy to cook any style of meal your family prefers.
• Hobbies & Activities: I love swimming (I trained as a child) and have a huge spectrum of hobbies. I enjoy arts, crafts, DIY projects, and being highly active outdoors (including taking kids to and practicing sports with them). I also love mind-sharpening activities like chess, checkers, puzzles, and board games.
• Administrative Responsibility: I previously worked in a school library managing data entry and handling professional email correspondence for book loans and student inquiries. I am exceptionally organized, punctual, and reliable with household logistics.
Logistics & Availability:
As an EU passport holder, I am legally cleared to move and start working with you immediately. I am currently in the process of finalizing my driver's license here in Latvia. If we begin our arrangement this winter, I can arrive with a full license ready to drive your children.
