Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to apply for the Live-in Nanny position in Istanbul. I am a warm, patient, and responsible
caregiver with hands-on experience supporting infants, toddlers, and young children in their daily
routines, play, and early learning. I am fluent in English, and I am looking for a stable, long-term
position where I can take an active and caring role in a child's development within a family home.
Experience with young children. From 2014 to 2020, I cared for babies and children aged 1 to 7
years at a family-owned orphanage, helping them with eating and drinking, play, walking practice, and
learning. This work taught me to be attentive to each child's needs, to keep consistent daily routines,
and to give the comfort and encouragement that young children need to feel secure. From 2021 to
2025, I taught children aged 5 to 6 years part-time at TK Islamic Pelita through learning and
play-based activities. Most of my childcare experience has been with children from age one, and I
would bring the same care, patience, and commitment, together with a genuine eagerness to learn and
follow the family's preferences, to caring for a baby.
Development, play, and language. I believe young children grow best through gentle routines, play,
communication, and plenty of loving attention. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities and
speaking, reading, and singing with children, and I understand how important it is for English to
become a natural part of a child's daily life, especially as he prepares for a British nursery. I speak
fluent English, both oral and written, and I am a native speaker of Indonesian with basic Arabic.
Reliability and professionalism. Alongside my childcare experience, I have more than 15 years of
professional experience in coordination and administration, which has made me organized,
responsible, discreet with confidential information, and clear in my communication. I am comfortable
working closely with parents, keeping them well informed, and adapting to the needs of a household. I
am open to a permanent, long-term commitment of at least one year, and I am happy to discuss
working hours and start date.
