I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Busisiwe Mary, but you can call me Mary. I am 27 years old and from South Africa. I am so excited at the possibility of becoming part of your family and bringing my passion for childcare, learning, and new experiences to your home.

I have extensive experience working with children in various settings. I recently completed a year as an au pair in Houston, Texas, where I cared for children, helped with their daily routines, and ensured they had fun, engaging activities to stimulate their learning and creativity. Additionally, I worked as a teacher's assistant at New Hope School in Pretoria, which allowed me to refine my teaching and child development skills. I've also had the opportunity to work as a receptionist and in customer service, roles that taught me the importance of communication, organization, and adaptability.

What truly motivates me is the joy I find in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children to grow in. I love organizing games, storytelling, and crafting activities that not only entertain but also help children learn and express themselves. I believe that every child is unique, and I aim to support them in discovering their own passions and building their confidence.

In addition to my practical experience, I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and am First Aid certified, so your children's safety and educational needs will always be my top priority. I am also pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Theology, which has strengthened my ability to approach challenges with patience, empathy, and understanding.

I grew up in a large family, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your children. I’m confident that I can be that person for your family. I look forward to sharing my culture, learning from yours, and forming a meaningful connection with your children.
