Introduction
My name is Linet, and I am from Kenya. I am a qualified Early Childhood Education teacher with a Bachelor’s degree and around three years of experience working with children. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and develop confidence in a safe and positive environment.
I have experience teaching young learners in a classroom setting, as well as volunteering at a children’s home. These experiences have taught me to be patient, understanding, responsible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs.
As a tutor, I enjoy making learning fun, interactive, and meaningful. I can support children with English, reading, writing, basic mathematics, homework, early childhood learning, and other age-appropriate academic activities. I like using stories, educational games, songs, creative activities, and practical examples to keep children interested and motivated.
I understand that every child learns differently, so I am willing to adapt my teaching methods according to their personality, age, abilities, and learning style. My goal is not only to help children improve academically but also to encourage their confidence, curiosity, independence, and love for learning.
I am a caring, calm, respectful, hardworking, and trustworthy person, and I would be happy to follow the family’s routines, expectations, and preferred curriculum. I am also open to learning about your family’s culture and sharing a little about my own Kenyan culture.
