My name is Obed, and I am a caring, responsible, patient and reliable person who enjoys being around children and helping them feel safe, loved and comfortable.

I have meaningful hands-on childcare experience from caring for four children over a period of about two years. Their mother had passed away, and the children were 2, 4, 6 and 8 years old. I helped take care of them and became familiar with their different needs, routines and personalities. Their father was working during the day, so I took responsibility for helping with the children and making sure they had what they needed.

This experience taught me patience, responsibility, communication and the importance of understanding each child individually. I learned that children need not only supervision, but also kindness, attention, encouragement and someone they can trust.

I am comfortable helping with everyday childcare, keeping children safe, preparing simple meals, keeping their surroundings organized, helping with daily routines and spending quality time with them. I am also willing to help with housekeeping and other reasonable family tasks.

I am open to learning new things and adapting to the routines and culture of my host family. I respect family rules and understand the importance of good communication between the au pair and the parents.

I am interested in a full-time live-in au pair opportunity and I am willing to relocate internationally. I would be happy to become a helpful and respectful member of a host family while gaining cultural experience and improving my English.
