Dear Family,
My name is Rorisang and I am a South African professional with more than seven years of experience working in education and supporting learners from different backgrounds. I have worked with young children in kindergarten, Montessori and international-school environments, as well as teaching adults online.
I am a patient, caring and responsible person who genuinely enjoys helping people learn, grow and feel comfortable. My experience working with young children has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, clear communication and creating a safe and positive environment.
During my teaching experience in China, I worked with children in both kindergarten and primary-school settings. I supported daily classroom routines, prepared age-appropriate activities, adapted activities to individual needs and communicated with parents and colleagues about children's progress and wellbeing.
I also have experience as a Montessori teacher, where I supported young learners through structured routines and attentive, individualised support. This helped me develop an even stronger appreciation for children's independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
In addition to childcare and teaching, I have experience supporting students in a Wellness Supervisor role and have completed formal Virtual Assistant training. I am therefore comfortable with organisation, schedules, communication, record keeping and helping with practical day-to-day responsibilities.
I would also be happy to assist with tutoring, homework, English development, educational activities, basic household organisation and office-related tasks where appropriate.
I am respectful of different cultures and have lived and worked internationally, which has helped me become adaptable, open-minded and comfortable in multicultural environments. I understand that joining a family is about more than simply completing tasks; it requires trust, communication, respect and reliability.
