Hello! My name is Lyne, and I’m a young, caring and responsible woman from Kenya. I’m a mother myself, so caring for children is something very close to my heart. I’m patient, affectionate and attentive, and I enjoy creating a safe and happy environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves.

I would describe myself as gentle, respectful, easy-going and dependable. I love meaningful conversations, music, learning about different cultures and spending quality time with the people around me. I’m excited about the opportunity to become an au pair because I would love to experience life in another country, learn from a new family and culture, and most importantly, become someone your children can trust and feel safe with.?? I’m naturally warm and caring, and I tend to be very attentive to the people around me. I’m also calm and patient, especially when dealing with children. I believe children need both affection and gentle guidance, and I try to communicate with them respectfully rather than simply telling them what to do.

?? My experience with children

Being a mother has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, routines and understanding a child’s needs. I understand that every child has their own personality, emotions and way of expressing themselves. I enjoy playing, talking, helping with everyday routines and simply being present with children.

?? Family life

Family is very important to me. I’m used to living in a family environment and helping with everyday responsibilities around the home. I understand that being part of a host family means respecting their routines, privacy, rules and way of doing things. I would want to build a relationship where we can communicate openly and comfortably with one another.

?? My interests

I enjoy listening to music, especially R&B, reggae and lovers rock. I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows, having conversations, exploring new things and learning about different people and cultures. I’m generally more comfortable with relaxed activities than very crowded or hectic environments.

?? Why I want to become an au pair

Becoming an au pair would be much more than simply travelling for me. I want to experience a different culture, become more independent, improve myself and build meaningful relationships with people from another part of the world. I’m especially interested in the opportunity to learn from my host family while also bringing my own culture, warmth and experiences into their home.

I hope to be someone your children can feel comfortable around and someone you can trust with their care. I would treat your children with kindness, patience and respect, while following the routines and expectations you have established for them. I also hope to become a positive and supportive member of the household rather than simply someone who is there to perform a job.
