My name is Darlen, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m really happy to have the chance to introduce myself to your family.

I want to become an Au Pair because I’m hoping to experience life in another country, learn about a new culture, and grow into a more independent and confident person. But more than traveling, I’m looking forward to becoming part of a family, helping with your children, and sharing everyday life with you.

I don’t have professional Au Pair experience yet, but I have experience caring for my niece and my grandmother. During college, I was also a working student. I lived with different families and helped them cook, wash laundry, clean the house, and take care of their daily needs. In return, they gave me an allowance that helped me continue my studies. Those experiences taught me to be responsible, hardworking, patient, and respectful.

I recently graduated from college, and this opportunity means a lot to me. I’ve worked hard to get where I am today, and I’m ready to take on a new challenge. I am willing to learn, adapt to your family’s routines, and take my responsibilities seriously. If you give me the opportunity, I will do my best to earn your trust and become someone your family can rely on.

I also hope to share a little bit of the Philippines with you—our food, culture, traditions, and the value we place on family.

I’m not looking for a perfect host family. I’m hoping to find a family where we can respect, understand, and support each other. I would be very happy to get to know you and your children and hear more about your family and what you are looking for in an Au Pair.
