Dear Future Host Family,

My name is charity, I am 19 years old and I am from Nairobi, Kenya. I am writing to you with great excitement about the possibility of becoming a part of your family as your au pair.

I come from a close, loving family of 4. My parents taught me the values of respect, responsibility, kindness, and hard work — values I would love to bring into your home. I finished highschool studies,i also studied emergency medical technitan in college and I am learning to speak german .

Why I want to be an au pair
I have always loved being around children. Watching them learn, laugh, and grow brings me so much joy. I want to be an au pair not only to share my love for childcare, but also to experience a new culture, become like a big sister to your children, and become a part of your family life. I see this as a cultural exchange built on trust and friendship.

My experience with children
I have 2 years of experience caring for children aged 1-12 years old]:
Babysitting for relatives preparing meals, helping with homework, bedtime routines, and playing
Volunteering at my local church Sunday school ,Helping raise my younger siblings Working at a daycare.
I am comfortable with all daily tasks: cooking for children, keeping their rooms tidy, doing their laundry, driving them to activities and helping with homework. I am also very patient, calm in stressful situations, and I always put safety first.

A little about me: I am a cheerful, responsible, and organized person. In my free time I love cooking, dancing, reading, listening to music, outdoor walks, braiding hair. I also love to teach new games. I am non-smoker, I dont have a driver's license, and I have no allergies.

What you can expect from me
You can expect someone who will treat your children with love and respect as if they were my own siblings. I will respect your house rules, communicate openly and honestly, and be flexible and helpful. I hope we can have weekly chats to make sure everything is going well for all of us.

What I hope for
I hope to find a kind, welcoming family where we can share cultures, meals, and happy memories. I am excited to help you in your daily life and to learn from you as well.
